The Mega Walking Marathon 2024

Crew was present on Saturday, May 25, during the Mega Walking Marathon for the Disabled Child in Arnhem. The Mega Walking Marathon took place in the Papendal area and was a great success!

 

What is the Mega Walking Marathon?

Having a disability does not limit a child for life; being excluded does. This is a harsh reality, as research shows that children with a disability are excluded five times more often than children without a disability. That must change! That is why the Foundation for the Disabled Child organizes the Mega Walking Marathon. This was the third time that the Foundation for the Disabled Child organized this event. Everyone, with or without a disability, could participate.

The crew was responsible for filming this marathon. They were also present to offer any assistance to the participants. Occasionally, participants were asked what they thought of the day. The questions mainly concerned who they were walking with and their motivation.

 

Success for the 3rd time

It was a wonderful day with many enthusiastic participants who dedicated themselves wholeheartedly to the good cause. The atmosphere was fantastic, and everyone was very satisfied with how the event was organized. It was heartwarming to see how many people dedicate themselves to disabled children and how much support there was for this wonderful initiative. The Mega Walking Marathon was therefore a great success, and the crew can look back on a successful day!
